Revolutionary Girl Utena
Utena Tenjou is a teenage girl who was so impressed by a prince who saved her as a kid that she decided to become a prince herself. She wears a boy’s uniform to school and ends up winning a weird sword duel for the hand of a quiet girl named Anthy Himemiya, the "Rose Bride." Now, Utena has to keep winning duels against the student council to protect Anthy from being used like a prize. This surreal fantasy is a trippy look at what happens when you try to break the rules of a fairy tale.
